great host but dining could improve
The host, Gherlain, truly stood out and contributed to our pleasant stay. The interior of our room, Superior Champassack, was impeccably finished and offered a comfortable retreat. Connecting with other travelers at breakfast created a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The garden view from various spots in the property was a delightful surprise, adding to the charm of the experience.
Breakfast had limited variety, which was a bit of a letdown.

not what I expected at all! and the breakfast? disappointing! so little variety, and I had to ask for eggs. I almost wrote a glowing review, but some things just couldn’t be overlooked.

We loved our stay in the beautifully decorated house, with comfortable bedding and outstanding service. The location was perfect, right by the charming square and church. The delicious breakfasts prepared each morning truly set us up for a day of exploring the picturesque streets of Dinan.
For dads, it would be great to have scrambled egg options available daily for kids.

Had a great time with friends at this charming guesthouse! The breakfast was a fun experience, as we all gathered at a big table, and we enjoyed homemade jams. The owner was always around to help. The outdoor tennis court was a nice bonus for us looking to stay active while exploring the area. Would recommend it to anyone!
The only downside was that one of the rooms wasn't quite as spacious as we expected. While it didn't ruin our stay, it was a bit cramped for our group.

I had a delightful stay with an amazing breakfast spread that truly set the mood for the day, and carrying my luggage up the charming spiral staircase was all part of the fun. The cozy lounge area with books and comfy seating was perfect for unwinding after a day out exploring. Just a heads up, the bathroom could get a bit chilly, but that didn’t take away from the overall charm! 😊
